False Memory by Dean R. Koontz
Review by: Purple74

Fantastic gripping read! This is yet another well written book of Mr Koontz's that'll keep you on the edge all the way until the last page. It's about Marti, a games designer who is married to Dusty the house painter. One day as Marti takes her agrophobic (??)(fear of the outside) to her regular meeting with her psychiatrist, she starts to exhibit some odd behaviour. Marti is diagnosed as being Autophobic (fear of ones own self), and it is around this time that Skeet (Dusty's half brother) is once again admitted to a drug rehab center and Dusty realises that he is also experiencing some odd behaviour. It has a "whodunnit" element as you look at the sudden changes within a very stable Marti and Dusty. This is a fab book, with some mentally disturbing scenes, that is well worth a read.
