It took Amazon a really long time to ship this book to me, and it does have a generous sprinkling of typos, but it was one of the few times my patience was rewarded. It's a novel about New England roofers, their lives, work, love, and friendship. Devlin clearly has been a roofer, or knows some very well. He has has a witty and refreshingly direct style. Well worth the wait, and an excellent beach or airplane companion.
