Paris to the Moon by Adam Gopnik
Review by: Suzy

You don't have to be the rabid francophile I am to enjoy Adam Gopnik's delightful memoir of the years he spent in Paris with his young family. Gopnik, a writer for "The New Yorker", took his family to live in Paris for a few years at the end of the '90s. His book is a witty and affectionate account of living in the City of Light. I especially enjoyed the episode where the Gopniks looked for a real New York style gym in Paris, only to be rewarded with...truffles. Vive la France!
