Animal Husbandry by Laura Zigman
Review by: Candi
Animal Husbandry is one of the funniest books I've read in a long time. Girls who have been dumped by a commitment-phobic loser in the past will especially find this a delightful read. It's witty, entertaining, and very accurately portrays most male behavior when they are too cowardly to make a clean break. The main character, Jane Goodall, (no, not THAT Jane Goodall), gets jilted and comes up with an Old Cow-New Cow Theory, citing the way male bulls will become disinterested in sex with the same cow. Throughout the novel, the author also makes witty comparisons between almost every animal known to man. Very, very funny.
