Revolution - ok, let's be honest--my natural color is dark brown and i "enhance" my hair to a medium-to-dark auburn shade. (and i KNOW i'm not alone in that here on the realm!). therefore, my lashes and eyebrows are naturally dark, and i can wear darker mascara than someone with naturally light strawberry blonde hair. even redheads represent a rainbow of hair, eye, and skin tones, so i hope we're all reading this with an eye towards "who really is closest to me in coloring?"

for foundation, i use cover girl ultimate finish liquid powder in ivory--i LOVE this stuff!! SO much easier than regular foundation--goes on like powder but covers beautifully. i do also use a separate powder to touch up: CG clarifying pressed powder in creamy natural. this is good for palefaces like myself. concealer: CG invisible concealer in fair.

for shadow, CG professional eye enhancers in shimmering sands, which is a three-color pack. i use the satin earth and toasted sand colors. they're great, light, shimmery brown/copper/gold-based shades that compliment fair skin, auburn hair, and green-hazel eyes well. my eyeliner is CG perfect blend in mink. yes, i do use a lot of cover girl--they have shades and types of makeup i like, and they're not as dadgum expensive as revlon. for mascara, i use maybelline illegal lengths in a dark brown shade (not sure which one) that you SHOULDN'T use if you have very light-colored eyelashes, but as i mentioned, i don't. however, it does give you mile-long lashes, important if they hide behind glasses, like mine do! i don't use eyebrow pencil, because i don't need it, but i do try to redden my brows with a bit of extra colorant.

anyway, my lipstick is cover girl toasted almond. it's a rich shade and i like the finished look it gives me--plus it's neither too orange-y nor remotely pink or berry-colored (curse those "oo, berry shades are in!" fashion people. you KNOW they don't usually look good on people who look like us!) however, the best lipstick i've ever used was revlon's copperglaze brown *sigh*... but i'm too cheap to buy it. why, oh why does lipstick have to be so $$$$?

i'm finding everyone else's responses interesting, so looking forward to any more suggestions! :) (plus i didn't realize i put this much goop on my face every morning! eegs!)
