ucred2 - Let's see.... I have Coppery red hair (as I have read from a few others, it has a tendency to look blonder and/or darker depending on the season.) I have a tendency to be a makeupaholic.... ;-} I will use brands that won't turn "orangish" after a while or won't slide off my face since I tend to have oily skin. It turns out that these brands run from Prescriptives (they have colors that range from red, yellow, red/orange, yellow/orange, blueish/red etc) it helps for those of us who can't go up to a counter and say "I'll take that color" and realize that it's too pink or red...those are my favorite ways to waste money let me tell you! I also use Estee Lauder, Clinique, Aveda and some Adrien Arpel. As far as colors, I tend to use black/brown mascara, coffee, brown or sable eye liners, auburn or light browns for lip liners and the same for lips. (I have found that I can usually "eyeball" the lip stick and know if it's going to be too pink/red.) I guess from personal experience it's easier for me to say that I TOTALLY stay away from blue/purple eyeshadow and lean towards the browns/tans and dark olives more than anything. Foundation I usually use something that has a hint of yellow in it because it tends to counteract the redness my face sometimes gets due to the sensitivity from cleansers. I have heard of the webpage for redheads and am willing to try their line as well as MAC. (Did I mention that I'm a makeupaholic? ;-} Hey, maybe we should have a redhead convention and have all the makeup lines try to win us over with "redhead only colors"....Now that would be great!!!
