fiestagrl - i don't usually put on a lot of makeup, but i have found some favourites when i decide to take the effort.

my hair is a dark sort of coppery red, freckles aren't prominent on my face (dark on arms and legs), eyes a blue-green-grey with gold, and very blonde eyebrows and lashes.

all i usually bother with is my brows, where i brush a reddish brown eyeshadow (currently revlon custom eyes in bali brown) to define them. and also a light coloured concealer (some unknown stuff i got at a makeover session) for those dark circles under my eyes.

2nd most used is lipstick... i found the perfect colour just a few months ago at the body shop: lip tint in coffee. it looks like brown gunk in the tube, but goes on a lovely shimmery coffee gloss.

when i go all out, cover girl fresh look in classic beige is the only thing i've found so far that sticks to my over-active oil glands... corn silk was ok, but this stuff is smoother. blush is a light peachy colour, in the cheapest i could find from annabelle (canadian only i think) not sure of the number... 70 or possibly 1500, not clear on the label.

recently discovered the joys of metallic accents... the subtle kind. both from the body shop: sparticles in supanova and highlighter stick in asteroid. hilight eyes, lips, cheeks whatever. fun!

the most trouble i've had is with mascara. being so fair (almost invisible blonde) my lashes are very unobtrusive, but also very long. so when i put on mascara, i end up looking like tammy fay baker. ick! so i got brave and ordered from justforredheads.com ginger red! mascara. if i warm it up in my pocket for a few minutes, apply as thin as possible, remove any trace of clumps.. then it looks.. ok.

not redhead related necessarily, but cleansers and such: my current combo is balancing cleansing gel, tea tree oil antibacterial toner (both body shop) and biore hydrating moisturizer. doesn't irritate my skin much, and varies in oil control. occasionally body shop foaming gel scrub for normal to oily (with ground olive stones and aloe), and sometimes clean & clear oil-absorbing shine control mattefier (say that 5 times fast), under makeup... not sure if it makes a difference.
