Lamia - I'm a natural redhead that is inclined to the gothic subculture, so as a result I tend not to use the regular colours. Extremely pale skin is usually prefered when going for a goth look and having naturally paper-white skin is a bit of a bonus - but, before I touch my skin with any make-up, I religiously cleanse, tone and moistuise my skin every morning and night with Givenchy cleanser and toner [available at most Givenchy counters] and bog standard Nivea Creme moisturiser [available everywhere!]. I also have a weekly facial but enough of that...
To create a flawless, deathly pale colour to my face :) I use Revlon Colorstay Make-Up SPF6 in Ivory with a layer of Stargazer [available at www.blackrose.co.uk] pressed powder in white.
I do not use blusher at all since I was never any good at applying it and would always look like some sort of dead aunt sally from the worzel gummage programme.
Eyes - I like to draw attention to my eyes since (if I say so myself) I have wonderfully bright blue eyes and the dark eye make-up merely enhances it further. I use Stargazer eyeshadow in Charcoal (which is more of a dark brown than black), Rimmel Performance Liquid Eyeliner in Black Note and Max Factor Kohl Pencil in dark brown to smudge a little on my lower lids and I finish off with lashing of Mabelline Mascara in Very Black.
Finally my lips - another focal point in my make-up routine. The lips have been described as one of the most sensual parts of the body and since they're always on view... I take advantage of that. I normally use Givenchy Rouge A Lvres Lipstick in 734 which is a gorgeously rich deep purple colour. If I'm not in purple I'll be in Revlon's Super Lustrous Lipstick in either Baby Berry or Marooned which are more red coloured.
