Stormystargazer - I have many tips and helpful hints that may help you. In the past, I won awards for my hair, makeup and fashion presentations.

Do you live in a cold climate? I started doing this while on the Police Department. In our cold midwest winters, we need to protect our skin with extra care. There is no need to buy expensive creams...unless you really like the containers and have LOTS of income! My grandmother always used Ponds Dry skin cream. She was 93 when she died and had probably 4 wrinkles!!!

I expanded on her skin care and in winter I add 1/4 petroleum jelly to one jar of ponds dry skin cream. Stir well with CLEAN implement. You may need an empty comtainer to mix it properly. before going out into that COLD air gently cleanse your face. I use Ponds Lemon Cleansing Cream.. rinse and do not dry completely. Apply the ponds dry skin cream/with added petroleum jelly. It can be worn under make up... over makeup. I always take it to work, too for moisturising touch ups during the day. The dry heat in many buildings saps your skin of needed hydration. Slightly dampen skin.. lightly apply the Ponds cream and you are off to finish your day!

Before bed, cleanse your skin...apply ponds to slightly damp skin. Do not forget to take special gentle care around eyes. Often, we forget to care for our necks and chest areas. These areas need moisture and protection, also. You can use this ponds mixture for most any area that needs moisture! (knees, feet, elbows, etc.)
