M1shmonypeny - Let me just say, having this section added to this web site is awesome. It's what caught my attention to that sometimes tricky task of us (redheads) on our quest for finding the perfect makeup colors and its what brought me to the site in the 1st place!. Over the past few years as most of us have seen, the makeup trends have become more varied which in our case, its been a positive. More companies are focusing on experimentation and richer colors. I have tried many looks ranging from the nudes to the dramatic and what I have found is the following:

Base: Colorstay by Revlon (its oil free) and the coverage lasts for good amount of time. Color: true beige and for lighter the many other beige colors. Dust lightly with New Complexion powder (also oil free.) These can be found almost everywhere.

Blush: MAC "Coppertone" In the summer, I usually don't wear a blush but this color is perfect and so neutral.

Eyes: MAC has some of the best colors when it comes to Mascaras, shadows, and liners. They have awesome staying power. Currently I use, Satin Taupe shadow (for a dramatic look), dark brown liner, and MAC Pro Lash mascara in Brown/ Black for evening (the BEST mascara I have ever used!) I am one of those girls who are of the eyelash challenged and this product enhances bigtime! The last product for eyes that I came across is Clear Brow Gel by Sonia Krashuk. I read about it in a magazine and bought it at Target. It makes the brows look very polished and at the same time, natural. In addition to that, her makeup line has numerous color choices and some real nice glosses too!

Lips: Ahhhh..let's say if I hadn't purchased all the wrong colors in the past few years, I'd be rich lol Here's some of my current favorites: NARS gloss in "Tiffany" -perfect for everyday, compliments all red tones, and looks fabulous with anything. I even apply a tiny amount to a lipstick for its brilliant shine. Even Carrie from "Sex In the City" has been seen using it! For a more dramatic look, I use Number 9 Bordeaux by Shiseido. Both can be found at Sephora.

Perfume: We can't forget this! New favorites: Chanel "Mademoiselle" and Donna Karan "Cashmire Mist."

I tend to find products quite often, so I hope to update some new items soon :o)
